Who am I?

I'm a passionate teacher who is constantly looking for better ways to connect my students to content and concepts. These are some of the best resources and ideas I've found and how I use them with students.

Instructional Resources

My Classroom Web Page-  The Pless Lab and History Academy.  This is the online community for the students and parents of my classroom.  On it you can find unit outlines, daily activities and assignments, assessments and more.  I also store my online teaching resources there for future use.

Formative Assessment Matrix-  This is a matrix of the information I've found on formative assessment from a variety of sources.  It includes several types of formative assessment, the purpose of each, several examples for classroom use, and what the formative assessment should result in.

Unit Progression Plan- A flow chart for planning and executing a unit to reflect the need for differentiation and RTI implementation.
